About Me
Hello! I’m Dr. Satvik Vats (SMIEEE), currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur.
I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra-Ranchi, Jharkhand, India, and since then, I’ve been devoted to both teaching and research.
Before joining MMMUT, I worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun and as an AI Researcher on the iDoc‑X Project with Teleglobal Consulting LTD, UK. At Teleglobal, I contributed to the development of the iDoc initiative, a healthcare solution that uses artificial intelligence to detect chest diseases from X‑Ray images.
My research journey has led me to publish in high‑impact international journals and conferences indexed in SCI, SCIE, ESCI, SCOPUS, and Web of Science. Alongside these publications, I have authored books and book chapters with reputed international publishers and hold several patents, all reflecting my drive to push the boundaries of knowledge and innovation.
In 2025, I was honored with the “Young Scientist Award” at the International Conference on Network and Cryptology, organized by the School of Computer and Systems Sciences at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi).
I also take pride in being the founder and convener of two international conference series:
AutoCom: advancing automation, computing, and smart technologies.
CyberCom: dedicated to cybernation and computation and emerging technologies.
Both of these conferences have quickly earned global recognition in the international research community.
I believe that teaching is about more than just delivering knowledge — it’s about inspiring curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity. In my classes, I work to create a dynamic and inclusive environment where students feel encouraged to collaborate, ask questions, and apply what they learn. I’m committed to providing not only strong theoretical foundations but also practical insights, ensuring that students are ready to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world. My research interests in Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning/Deep Learning also guide my teaching, helping me bridge the gap between classroom learning and real‑world applications.
Join me on this journey of knowledge, innovation, and discovery. Together, we can shape the future of education and inspire the leaders of tomorrow.
